Pike jigs and pike shads

Large pike jigs, i.e. 15–30 cm long pike shads have become highly popular for casting. Typically, these consist of a rubber lure to which the user adds their preferred hooks. You will also need a jig screw, that is attached to the nose of the lure. Alternatively, it is also possible to use a large jig head instead of a jig screw, particularly when fishing in deeper water.
