Westin W6 Powercast 2nd Baitcasting Rod

The Westin W6 Powercast 2nd Baitcasting Rod is designed for casting large lures when targeting powerful predatory fish, particularly pike. Its powerful Torayca® carbon fibre blank and fast action provide excellent control when fishing with large swimbaits, spinnerbaits and jerkbaits. The lightweight yet robust construction makes active lure fishing comfortable while delivering plenty of strength for fighting big fish. This baitcasting rod pairs particularly well with a size 300 Westin baitcasting reel. Powerful casting and precise lure control The blank is constructed from 40T and T1100 Torayca® carbon fibre, combining impressive strength with a fast, responsive action. This makes it easier to cast large lures with confidence and control their movements precisely throughout the retrieve. The generous power reserve provides reliable hooksets and excellent control when fighting a large pike or another powerful predator. Secure grip for heavy-duty lure fishing The ergonomically designed Westin 3C carbon fibre handle provides a stable, comfortable grip while transmitting feedback from the blank directly to your hand. The Fuji® reel seat keeps the reel securely in place, while durable Fuji® SiC guides ensure smooth line flow during both casting and fighting fish. A Seaguide® TIDHOOK #4 hook keeper offers a convenient place to secure your lure when moving between fishing spots. Whether you're casting large swimbaits across open water or working jerkbaits for trophy pike, the Westin W6 Powercast 2nd Baitcasting Rod delivers the power, sensitivity and control needed for demanding predator fishing.
