Chatterbaits and Blade Baits

Chatterbaits and blade baits originated in the United States, where they were developed to fish effectively for predatory species in both murky and vegetation-heavy waters. These lure types have long been popular in American bass fishing, but in recent years they have become increasingly used in Europe as well – especially for pike and perch. The combination of vibration, sound, and a compact profile makes them effective search baits when you want to cover a lot of water and trigger strikes from active fish. Blade baits can also be used for ice fishing.
