Westin W6 Monster V-Jig 2nd Baitcasting Rod

The Westin W6 Monster V-Jig 2nd Baitcasting Rod is designed for heavy vertical jigging and pelagic fishing from a boat. Its powerful yet sensitive Torayca® carbon fibre blank provides direct feedback from lure movements and plenty of strength for fighting large predatory fish. This baitcasting rod pairs particularly well with a size 200 Westin baitcasting reel. Sensitivity for lure control and power for fighting fish The blank is constructed from 40T and T1100 Torayca® carbon fibre, combining the strength required for heavy-duty fishing with excellent sensitivity. This makes it easier to follow lure movements and detect bites, whether you're jigging vertically beneath the boat or presenting your lure to fish moving through open water. The powerful blank provides confidence when setting the hook and excellent control when fighting large predators. Secure grip for vertical fishing The Westin 3C carbon fibre handle provides a secure grip while transmitting feedback from the blank directly to your hand. The Fuji® reel seat keeps the reel firmly in place, while durable Fuji® SiC guides ensure smooth line flow even under load. A Seaguide® TIDHOOK #4 hook keeper offers a convenient place to secure your lure when moving between fishing spots. Whether you're working heavy jigs directly beneath the boat or targeting large predators suspended in open water, the Westin W6 Monster V-Jig 2nd Baitcasting Rod delivers the sensitivity, strength and control needed for demanding vertical fishing.
