Rigid construction and protection against saltwater The K-Alloy aluminium body and rotor resist deformation under load, helping to keep the gears correctly aligned even when a powerful fish pulls hard. Five sealed stainless steel ball bearings and a sealed anti-reverse bearing provide smooth operation and immediate response when setting the hook. A total of 14 seals and IPX5 water resistance help prevent water from reaching the reel's internal mechanism. Controlled drag performance for fighting powerful fish The sealed Carbon Matrix carbon fibre drag delivers smooth, consistent resistance during powerful runs. Size 5000 features three drag washers, while sizes 6000–10000 have five. Maximum drag force reaches up to 13.6 kg, depending on the model. Size 5000 features a CNC-machined aluminium main gear, while the larger models use hard brass main gears designed to withstand the demands of heavy-duty fishing. Braid-ready spool and secure handle grip The forged, double-anodised aluminium spool is designed for braided fishing lines and built to withstand challenging saltwater conditions. The machined aluminium handle folds away for convenient transport, while the non-slip TPE handle knob provides a secure grip even under heavy loads. On sizes 6000, 8000 and 10000, the bail is closed manually after casting.
