Westin Jerkbite SR 9 cm Plug is a shallow-running jerkbait and twitchbait for lure fishing for perch, trout and other predatory fish. Its slender prey fish profile responds instantly to movements of the rod, while the balanced suspending construction keeps the lure in the strike zone during pauses. SR stands for Shallow Runner, and this model has a swimming depth of approximately 0.5–1 metre. Jerkbait for twitches, pauses and steady retrieves The Westin Jerkbite SR 9 cm Plug can be fished with quick, aggressive twitches or more slowly with longer pauses between rod movements. In cold water, longer pauses can be particularly effective as the lure remains suspended enticingly in the strike zone. When fish are more active, sharp twitches create rapid changes of direction that imitate a fleeing baitfish. Jerkbite also performs well with a steady retrieve.
