Westin Jerkbite SR 11 cm Plug is a suspending jerkbait and twitchbait for shallow-water predator fishing. Its slender prey fish profile responds instantly to movements of the rod, while the well-balanced construction allows the lure to remain suspended in the strike zone during pauses. SR stands for Shallow Runner, and the swimming depth of 0.5–1.5 metres makes this model well suited to fishing over shallow areas and along vegetation edges. Quick changes of direction and effective pauses The Westin Jerkbite SR 11 cm Plug can be fished with quick, aggressive twitches or more slowly with longer pauses between rod movements. In cold water, longer pauses can be particularly effective as the lure remains suspended enticingly in the strike zone. When actively twitching the lure, sharp rod movements make the Plug dart rapidly from side to side like a fleeing baitfish. It also performs well with a steady retrieve. Long Cast system for long and accurate casts The integrated Long Cast system uses two steel balls that move towards the rear of the lure during the cast to improve casting distance and accuracy. When the retrieve begins, the balls return to their position in the belly, restoring the plug's balance and producing its characteristic side-to-side action.
