Westin Jerkbite MR 9 cm Plug is a suspending jerkbait and twitchbait for predator fishing at depths of approximately 1–2 metres. Its slender prey fish profile responds instantly to movements of the rod, while the well-balanced construction allows the lure to remain suspended in the strike zone during pauses. MR stands for Medium Runner, making this model an excellent choice when predatory fish are holding a little deeper below the surface. Quick changes of direction and enticing pauses The Westin Jerkbite MR 9 cm Plug can be fished with quick twitches and short pauses or with a slower retrieve and longer stops. In cold water, longer pauses can be particularly effective as the lure remains suspended enticingly in the strike zone. When predatory fish are more active, sharp rod movements produce rapid side-to-side action that imitates a fleeing baitfish. The Plug also performs well with a steady retrieve. Long Cast system for long and accurate casts The integrated Long Cast system uses two steel balls that move towards the rear of the lure during the cast to improve casting distance and accuracy. When the retrieve begins, the balls return to their position in the belly, restoring the Plug's balance and producing a lively swimming action.
