Shimano 24 Fliegen Spinning Reel
Shimano 24 Fliegen Spinning Reel is a top-tier long-distance casting reel that combines lightness, precision, and technical performance in a way that impresses both competitive casters and seasoned shore anglers. This is Shimano’s lightest surf reel ever, weighing only 510 grams – yet it houses everything you need for powerful casts and controlled retrieves.
Fliegen is optimized for casting with thin lines, where distance and pinpoint accuracy are crucial. The HAGANE Body and Ci4+ Rotor provide a light yet robust frame. InfinityDrive enhances winding feel even under heavy load, while SilentDrive ensures smooth and quiet operation. With its AR-C spool, Rigid Cast construction, and Parallel Body design, your casts go far, straight – and right where the fish are.
The internal mechanics are protected by X-Protect technology, which effectively keeps out water and dirt without sacrificing sensitivity. HAGANE Gear and X-SHIP deliver strong yet silky-smooth gearing that lasts for years. The High Speed Drag system allows quick, precise adjustments – especially valuable when switching from free-spool to fish-fight mode in an instant.
Fliegen is the perfect choice for technically precise casting where flawless gear performance is essential. It offers innovative construction, sophisticated design, and top-level technology all in one high-performance package.
