Savage Gear Mutant Rat 30 cm

Savage Gear Mutant Rat 30 cm is a large hybrid lure developed for targeting big pike. The lure combines a hard, 3D-scanned rat-like head with a pulsating polyester collar and a soft Mutant Rat tail. This slow-sinking lure creates plenty of movement even at very slow retrieve speeds and is particularly well suited to shallow pike waters, vegetation edges and other areas where pike seek cover. Pulsating collar and lively Mutant Rat tail The large mouth opening in the head directs water towards the polyester collar, making it pulsate during the retrieve. The soft tail section features large, flexible ribs, frog-like legs and gecko-inspired ball-shaped toes that begin moving even at slow retrieve speeds. A built-in polycarbonate rattle chamber also adds an enticing sound to the lure's presentation. Slow-sinking pike lure for shallow and deeper fishing In its standard setup, the Savage Gear Mutant Rat 30 cm fishes particularly effectively at depths of approximately 0.5–1.5 metres. An additional weight can be attached to the extra eyelet under the chin when you want to fish the lure deeper. A twitching retrieve with regular pauses highlights the hybrid lure's different movements and creates a varied presentation.
