Raymarine WG-1 Wireless Gateway is a wireless gateway that connects the Raymarine RCU-1 remote control to your boat’s Evolution autopilot system. It connects to the NMEA 2000 / SeaTalk NG network and establishes a Bluetooth connection with the RCU-1, allowing compatible autopilot functions to be controlled wirelessly from different areas of the boat.Please note: The WG-1 Wireless Gateway does not function as an autopilot remote control on its own. Wireless autopilot control also requires the Raymarine RCU-1 remote control. If you are adding wireless remote control to your autopilot for the first time, choose the Raymarine RCU-1 Autopilot Remote + WG-1 Wireless Gateway package, which includes both required devices. The separately sold WG-1 is ideal, for example, as a replacement for a lost or damaged gateway. Wireless connection for the RCU-1 remote WG-1 acts as a bridge between the boat’s autopilot system and the RCU-1 remote control. The gateway connects to the boat’s NMEA 2000 / SeaTalk NG network and wirelessly transfers autopilot and navigation data to the remote via Bluetooth.Raymarine WG-1 Wireless Gateway allows the compatible RCU-1 remote to communicate with the autopilot system without cabling between the remote and the autopilot network.
