Description
The original Spearhead, designed in 1965, is celebrated for its searching, tight swimming motion that mimics a small hunting fish. The lightweight and floating Spearhead Pro returns to the surface when reeling stops but dives quickly to a depth of 2.5 meters. Crafted from certified balsa wood and reinforced with a stainless steel through-wire, this plug is built to handle even powerful resistance.
Every plug is test-fished and factory-tuned for optimal action, and you can further fine-tune the movement through the nose loop to suit your fishing style. Take care not to bend the plastic lip excessively, and let the plug air dry after a long day on the water to maintain its condition.
Key Features:
• Special Effects: UV-enhanced and holographic finish for increased visibility
• Body: Certified balsa wood, lightweight and precisely designed
• Hook: VMC 9632 BZ-4, sharp and reliable
• Length: 8 cm / 3"
• Weight: Approx. 14 g
• Frame Wire: Stainless steel, capable of handling demanding fishing conditions
• Swimming Depth: Around 2.5 meters
• Floating Model: Rises to the surface when reeling stops
• Craftsmanship: Genuine Finnish quality and tradition
Finlandia-Uistin Oy produces traditional, authentic Finnish handcrafted lures using techniques that have been effective worldwide for over 60 years. The small bait workshop in the village of Kalkkinen still uses the unique lure-making methods and color designs pioneered by the Kangas brothers. Classic lures like Nils Master and Bete are already cherished by the third generation of anglers—and future generations will surely keep this legacy alive.
