Nils Master Spearhead Pro 8 cm is an updated version of the classic plug, featuring new PRO series enhancements: UV effects and a holographic finish for increased visibility and attraction. From Finland’s salmon rivers to Australia’s coast, where it’s known to hook barramundi, the Spearhead is a versatile plug that’s ideal for casting big trout, perch, and pike, as well as trolling.

The original Spearhead, designed in 1965, is celebrated for its searching, tight swimming motion that mimics a small hunting fish. The lightweight and floating Spearhead Pro returns to the surface when reeling stops but dives quickly to a depth of 2.5 meters. Crafted from certified balsa wood and reinforced with a stainless steel through-wire, this plug is built to handle even powerful resistance.

Every plug is test-fished and factory-tuned for optimal action, and you can further fine-tune the movement through the nose loop to suit your fishing style. Take care not to bend the plastic lip excessively, and let the plug air dry after a long day on the water to maintain its condition.
