Description
MOB+ is a wireless emergency shutdown system designed specifically for boating. The system consists of the xHUB unit which is installed on to the boat and the xFOB transmitter. The xFOB weighs just 10 grams and is 4.4 cm long, so it can be carried around on your neck using the xTAG holder, on the xBAND wristband, on your life jacket or in your pocket. The devices communicate wirelessly. Four people can simultaneously use an xFOB.
As you step on to the boat, switch the device on with a single press of a button (WIMEA allows you to move 15 meters away from the boat). If a passenger falls from the boat while you are on the water, the xHUB will raise an alert and shutdown the engine. The engine can be restarted after 6 seconds and the person who went overboard can be retrieved. As you leave the boat, the connection is closed down.
The xHUB is connected to the battery system of the boat (12–24 V) and an engine shutdown system. The service life of the xFOB's battery is more than 300 hours. The system is easy to use due to the one-press operating system.
