The Marttiini Fish Cleaner is an all-round tool for cleaning fish. The curved blade makes it easy to open up the fish, while the serrated edge comes in handy for scaling. With the metal scoop at the end of the handle removing the intestines is clean and fast. The blade is protected by a plastic shield. The stainless steel used by Marttiini is easy to maintain as a blade material. A stainless-steel blade remains sharp for long. Chromium makes up 13% of the steel mixture and the hardness of the mixture is 53-54 Rockwell units (HRC). A diamond sharpener is recommended for sharpening chromium steel. Rubber mixture is extremely well suited as the material for knife handles. An ergonomically shaped rubber handle can be washed in a washing machine, is easy to maintain, hygienic and safe. A rubber handle feels pleasantly warm to touch even under outdoor conditions, for instance in freezing or wet weather.
