Garmin Panoptix PS51-TH FrontVü Forward Transducer

This multibeam through-hull transducer with premium FrontVü sonar helps you avoid rocky spots by providing your chartplotter with a real-time view of what is in front of your boat (*). The transducer also contains LiveVü Forward sonar that allows you to see fish and divers swimming below and ahead of your boat up to a range of 30 meters (100 ft).

The Panoptix FrontVü sonar displays the bottom up to 90 meters (300 ft) ahead of the boat (8-10 times the current water depth) and gives nearly instantaneous feedback so that you can react in time. The Panoptix FrontVü's narrow forward sonar (20 degrees) allows you to navigate even strange waters with ease. It allows you to focus on monitoring the bottom in front of the boat without having to worry too much about the targets to the sides. The devices also contains an AHRS sensor that stabilizes the sonar image and allows you to see the bottom contours clearly even when the waters are rough. Furthemore, all sonar information provided by FrontVü can be easily shared with other chartplotters connected to your Garmin Marine Network.

The Panoptix PS51-TH transducer has a standard 50.88 mm (2") stainless steel through-hull mount. The transducer displays depth and temperature data and is compatible with all Garmin chartplotters that support Panoptix.

With the LiveVü Forward transducer, your boat can be moving or staying still, it doesn't matter. You will have a real-time view of the underwater action regardless of where you are headed. You will see your lure as it sinks and be able to follow its depth and movements during the retrieve. You will be able to see how it moves in relation to underwater structures. The transducer shows fish swimming by as well as the fish interested in your bait. If the fish bites, you will be able to see it as well as feel it. When a fish is hooked, you'll see its movements on the screen in real time.The Panoptix LiveVü Forward transducer allows you to see everything up to 30 meters (100 ft) away. All other sonar data is already history.
