Garmin OnBoard System

Garmin OnBoard System is a wireless MOB system that helps you respond quickly if the captain or a passenger falls overboard. The wearable MOB tags work together with a compatible Garmin chartplotter and the GOS 10 hub without the need for a traditional kill-switch lanyard attached to the captain, providing greater freedom of movement on board. Separate MOB functions for the captain and passengers Each MOB tag can be assigned to either the captain or a passenger. If the connection between the captain's tag and the boat is lost, the system triggers an MOB event, marks an MOB waypoint on the chartplotter, sounds an audible alarm and activates the engine cut-off. If a passenger tag loses connection, an MOB waypoint is created and an audible alarm is activated without shutting down the engine. Wireless MOB tags that are easy to carry The tag can be attached using the included 20 mm quick-release strap, carabiner or floating key ring. Up to eight tags can be paired with the system at the same time, allowing multiple people on board to be covered by MOB monitoring. A tag can also be temporarily disabled when needed. GOS 10 hub monitors the MOB system The GOS 10 hub features an external audible alarm, and the system can be connected to boats equipped with an engine cut-off switch. The package contains the key components required for installation, including one wireless MOB tag, an external antenna and connection accessories for the NMEA 2000 network.
