Satellite messaging and SOS beyond mobile network coverage inReach Mini 2 allows you to send text messages to family and friends and communicate with other inReach devices even in remote areas. In an emergency, an interactive SOS alert can be sent to the Garmin Response coordination centre, which is staffed around the clock. MapShare and LiveTrack also allow you to share your location and let family and friends follow your journey. TracBack and Garmin Explore help you navigate Garmin inReach Mini 2 Flame Red Satellite Communicator supports point-to-point navigation, while TracBack helps you navigate back along the same route to your starting point. The digital compass shows your heading even when standing still. With the Garmin Explore app, you can also access routes, waypoints, trip planning and topographic maps on a compatible smartphone. Long battery life in a compact design The built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 14 days of battery life with tracking at 10-minute intervals and a clear view of the sky. With tracking at 30-minute intervals, battery life can reach up to 30 days. The IPX7 water rating makes the device suitable for use in rain and varying weather conditions.
