New Garmin GPSMAP chartplotters have sharper displays with more pixels than previous-generation devices. These devices can integrate seamlessly into your Garmin marine system due to their smaller size and improved performance. Support for the Garmin Marine Network allows you to share information, such as maps, user data, radar and IP camera video among different devices. NMEA 2000® and NMEA 0183 networks make it possible to connect to compatible autopilots, digital switching, weather, Fusion-Link™ audio system, media, VHF, AIS and more from one screen.

Built-in Wi-Fi® connectivity enables connections with Garmin Helm, BlueChart Mobile, and VIRB action cameras. The free Quickdraw Contours map software allows you to create unique high definition 0.3 meter contours. Share and download maps in the Garmin Quickdraw community. With the Garmin Sailassist™ sailing features you can view laylines, enhanced wind rose, and tide and drift data. Racing assistance includes race start line guidance and countdown.

As the device is Panoptix™ sonar compatible, you can pair it with a FrontVü scanning sonar to help you see and avoid submerged obstacles in real time. Integrated ANT® technology allows you to connect with some of your favorite devices, such as quatix® marine watches, gWind™ Wireless 2 transducers, GNX™ Wind marine instruments and wireless remote controls. BlueChart® g3 Vision® maps (sold separately) offer new Auto Guidance functions, such as automatic guidance, waypoints, route review and modification, recommended speeds, etc.
