Daiwa 23 Fuego LT Spinning Reel

Daiwa's 23 Fuego LT spinning reels represent top-class fishing equipment, and they are full of amazing, well-designed technology. Fuego LT features a Zaion V carbon fiber body instead of nylon-based plastic, which is typically used for other reels in this price category. The carbon fiber body reduces the weight of Fuego by 3–5% compared to other similar reels. Fuego is equipped with an Airdrive rotor that reduces its weight even further. Daiwa has also introduced the Airdrive bail, which is made from extremely strong, stiff, and inflexible metal that is still thinner and lighter. The goal has been to reduce rotational mass, which also reduces the weight of the reel and allows for easier retrieve. Twistbuster III is perfect for braided lines, as it reduce twisting and eliminates tangles. The Magsealed protection is particularly good for fishing in saltwater, as it reduces corrosion and prevents water from getting inside the reel.

The Light & Tough (LT) concept reels are designed for modern anglers who use braided lines and expect more power and better drag performance from their reels. Compared to their predecessors, LT concept reels are lighter and more compact, but their line capacity, drag performance, and main gear size remains the same or better.
