SSG gearing for controlled lure presentation SSG stands for Slow Speed Gear, and the lower gear ratio is well suited to situations where you want additional control over the lure's movement and speed. The Westin W4 50 SSG Baitcasting Reel features 7+1 sealed stainless steel bearings that contribute to smooth and responsive performance during both casting and retrieval. CBS6 centrifugal brake for lighter lures The six-piece CBS6 centrifugal braking system allows the casting brake to be adjusted according to lure weight and fishing style.
