Surface lures have traditionally been thought as pike lures, but now it’s time to widen the audience. Try the lure for river trout at a depth of 0.5–2 meters year-round and on perch shallows in the heat of the summer. Basic speed rules: fast swim for warm water and active fish, slower swim with occasional stops for cold weather and passive fish, and even slower swim in freezing temperatures.
