Miravel is the latest addition to Shimano’s MagnumLite range of reels. Miravel is a lightweight yet powerful reel that offers versatility and reliability in guaranteed Shimano style. The reel is built around Shimano's legendary CI4+ housing, which allows for a lightweight and sensitive reel. Miravel also features Shimano's MagnumLite rotor that enables effortless retrieval and fast hooking.

The combination of Shimano's first-rate reel technologies, such as cold-forged HAGANE Gear, SilentDrive, and X-Ship, offers durable gearing even under heavy load. • The CI4+ material is a perfect combination of carbon fiber and polyamide. Almost as strong as metal but with the low weight of composite materials. CI4 is used in the bodies and rotors of Shimano reels
• Coreprotect. Put simply, prevents water and dirt from reaching inside the reel, while still ensuring effortless operation
• Cross Carbon Drag system. Shimano's Cross Carbon discs ensure smooth drag performance throughout the range, while also enabling a wide range of adjustment
• G-Free Body design shifts the center of mass closer to the rod, thus improving casting ergonomics and reducing strain.
• The precise, low-friction Hagane gearing provides excellent feel and performance. The Hagane gearing uses pure, non-recycled cold forged aluminum. With the re-arrangement of the internal crystalline structure of the metal, forging allows for more durable components than casting, while also producing gearing surfaces with maximal smoothness and minimal friction. New Propulsion spool construction. Tens of thousands of test casts and computer simulations were used to verify that the new spool lip design offers increased casting distance compared to traditional designs and eliminates clearance and wind knots
• Silent Drive technology minimizes clearance and reduces noise.
• X-Ship. Shimano's X-Ship design means that the most critical components are supported from each end and kept precisely in their places. This provides you plenty of power and torque, which will become apparent when you are fighting your record catch.
