The adapter has several features designed to ensure your safety.• The breaking strength of the adapter is designed such that spindle of the adapter will break off in hazardous situations, thus protecting the drill, auger, and, most importantly the operator.• The secure, semi-rigid, freely rotating flange prevents the auger from falling in the hole in the ice.• The integrated fall protector ensures that the drill chuck keeps hold of the adapter even where the attachment is loosened.• Compatible with both Mora and Mora Ice augers with 18 or 22-mm internal diameter (incl.
