The T-shaped aperture allows line to flow freely when casting. This reduces the sharp angles that can slow down the cast. On retrieve, the TWS hood lowers, allowing the line to wind on to the spool smoothly. TWS is also effective at reducing backlash.The Tatula 300 TWS reel is completed by familiar patented Daiwa features, large line capacity, double stopper and an amazing max drag of 13kg, which is enough to stop even the largest pike.
