Blackfin

Blackfin is a Finnish lure brand that focuses on perch fishing, especially the habits of large fish. The brand's origin isn't a business idea, but fishing itself. Perch fishing in Finland's magnificent Kvarken Archipelago has been a tradition in Blackfin developer Viktor's family for four generations. The Kvarken region is known as Finland's only (natural) UNESCO World Heritage Site and a paradise for large perch!

Product testing has been conducted in open lake areas, small forest lakes, and at sea. In clear and dark waters, including waters with very high fishing pressure, where large fish do not react to traditional solutions.

The lures are inspired by the United States and Japan, where various finesse techniques have been developed extensively over decades. These ideas are combined with world-class Finnish engineering and an understanding of perch biology.

Every Blackfin product is designed in Finland and has gone through several prototypes before the swimming action, balance, and details have met the required standard. A lure does not go into production until it reliably performs in various bodies of water and situations.
